Get Ready for BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON

Ghostlight Records will be recording Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which is playing through May 30 at The Public Theater!

With music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson takes an audacious combination of historical fact, fiction, and an emo-inspired score to tell the story of Andrew Jackson’s presidency.  Boasting tracks like, “The Corrupt Bargain,” “The Hunters of Kentucky,” and “Populism, Yea! Yea!” this show promises to “capture a small part of the American character that can be confusing, alluring, infuriating, and sometimes just too fun for its own good.”
